  1. In my favorite teachers classroom, she provided a very safe place to ask questions and connect with her on a level above teaching, as well as the concepts we had to learn. She had very good classroom management skills and new how to get students in control, while being kind. Classroom management is a wide variety of skills used to keep students organized, orderly, focused and on task.A positive learning environment is when teachers and students reflect positive thoughts and actions in the classroom to motivate each other to learn and grow with each other. Using this, motivates students in a positive way to get their work done and often can result in good grades because students look forward to learning and enjoy it. If a teacher can make the information valued by students it can result in in more success and hard work of students. I promote motivation in a positive environment from teachers and students to each other. This is very uplifting for students when trying to learn and maintain grades.

My favorite teacher made the classroom feel like a safe space where it was okay to make mistakes, which is something that many students would appreciate. Her classroom had her lights off all the time, only getting light from he lamps she had in each corner. Classroom management is the way the teacher organizes the furniture in order to make the classroom an appropriate learning environment. A positive learning environment is important because it'll encourage the students to always work hard and do their best to meet (and even exceed) the expectations. If the learning environment is well organized, the students won't be distracted by outside factors. They will also catch onto class dynamics quickly, assuring their academic success. I always do my best to appear as approachable as possible so the students feel comfortable asking questions, and if I don't know the exact answer, I try to at least guide them to be on the right path. I'm also very patient and don't give up easily, which sets an example for them, and also helps them when they're completing an assignment and I'm helping them.

Thinking back to my favorite teacher, she made the classroom not just a classroom, but a second home. It was a safe place for our class to learn and grow, even beyond the general curriculum TEKS. She was very structured, while still able to be flexible and adapt to the craziness of third grade. Classroom management is a term used to refer to the wide variety of skills it takes to keep students on task, orderly, attentive, and organized. Classroom management skills are crucial to the success of the classroom, student, and teacher, because without successful classroom management, it creates an unnecessary stress and chaos in the room for everybody. A positive learning environment is so important, because it creates an environment that students are high achievers, and work hard with confidence. It creates a much smoother environment for everyone. Students will be more successful in a positive learning environment. To promote effective learning skills, you have to have good communication skills, good discipline skills, classroom management, high expectations, knowledge of the subject matter, and an engaging personality. I feel as though I have an engaging personality, good discipline skills, and good communication skills, and I could also work on all of the other qualities to become efficient at those.

  7. My favorite teacher was my 8th grade math teacher. He's my favorite because his classroom was always a good environment to be in. I felt like I could ask any questions without anyone making me feel dumb. His classroom was small and there weren't really that many people in the class, so we were all close and comfortable with each other. Classroom management is the process of ensuring that the class runs smoothly without disruptive behavior from students. A positive learning environment is important for students so that they can talk amongst others and ask questions to learn the objective. If the classroom management is good, then the students should not get distracted, they would be focused and be successful. I am a patient person, so that is a good quality to have while trying to get a student to learn.

  8. My favorite teacher was patient, funny, caring, and kind. She made the classroom a fun and safe place to learn and grow without being punished or embarrassed when we got an answer wrong. She knew how to help every student even if we all learned in different ways. She knew how to have fun while learning. Her classroom was very organized with open spaces so we could move around freely. She made her classroom feel like home away from home. Classroom management is how each teacher controls the students in their class and how each class runs. A positive learning environment is important because this allows the students to feel safe enough to share their thoughts and feelings with the class. If a teacher were to shut a student down when they have something important to say, that student would hesitate to speak again. A positive environment allows for growth mindsets. If a student has a growth mindset and the teacher fuels that with a positive environment, nothing can stop that student from reaching their goals. If a classroom is unorganized, this will not be beneficial to the student or the teacher. A teacher needs to be able to help their students with everything and if that student doesn't feel comfortable in the class, they won't go to them. I am patient, calm in stressful situations, and I'm understanding. These traits will help me promote effective learning skills.

  11. My favorite teacher made the class a safe haven, of sorts. It was a place where everyone could feel comfortable being themselves. She was kind, caring, and patient. Her classroom management was great. Classroom management is how a teacher runs his or her classroom. A positive learning environment is extremely important because it helps the students preform to a higher standard. Being in an environment where they feel encouraged helps students succeed. Classroom management relates to success because if there is not good classroom management the student is less likely to succeed. Poor classroom management could mean that the students aren't learning what they need to know which would overall decrease their ability to preform to a high standard. Good characteristics that promote effective learning skills include patience, calmness, understanding, creativity, and various others.

My favorite teacher was special because she had great passion for what she was teaching. Her classroom was colorful and covered in science/nerdy posters. There were inflatable planets hanging from the ceiling and old student projects everywhere. She really engaged all of her students and made them love science. Classroom management is engaging your students and making sure you have their attention and respect. It is keeping the classroom structured but also easy to adapt for each individual student and every challenge. A positive learning environment is important because it gives every student a safe space so they feel comfortable enough to not only learn and grow but also to fail without fear. Failing is an important part of success and giving students a safe place to fail and succeed and most importantly to grow. If a teacher can't manage their class they can't have a successful class. Like in the book we read at the beginning of the year which said that establishing good classroom management from day one is the make or break moment. I am understanding and encouraging. I know how to support people most of the time and how to get them to persist.

  13. My favorite teacher was memorable because she knew how to balance being a strict rule-enforcer and being an understanding mentor. The classroom always felt very welcoming, and you encouraged to share your ideas, even if they might not be the correct answer. Classroom management is crucial for a teacher to have because it is a teacher's ability to control and run a classroom and create a positive learning environment. Positive learning environments encourage students to be themselves, do their best work, and always feel comfortable in the classroom. All of these attributes make up the management of the classroom, which plays a huge role in the success of the students. If the classroom isn't welcoming, organized, friendly, safe, etc., the teacher cannot be totally successful doing their job, so the students are left in an even worse position to be successful. Some characteristics I think I possess that promote effective learning skills would be patience, understanding, and listening to what others have to say.

My favorite teacher was important in my life and inspires me to peruse a teaching career because she cared for her students needs and put them first. Her classroom was very colorful and was covered in purple, because that was her favorite color. She had a rocking chair where she read to us and a lot of pillows around the room. She had motivation posters as well scattered around the room. Classroom management is when the school or the teacher creates a learning environment that is manageable. If it is a effective learning environment if the classroom runs smoothly without bad behavior. A positive learning environment is important so the students are in control and everything runs smoothly. The students should feel safe and secure in the classroom. If students feel comfortable in the classroom then they will feel more motivated to succeed and do their work. Good classroom management will make the students secure and will keep them learning. If classroom management is bad then the students will do whatever they want and will cause problems in the classroom. This will make the teacher lose power as a teacher and is bad for the students in the future. Good characteristics to promote effective learning skills is good communication skills, high expectations, good classroom management, Good discipline, and respect. These characteristics will create a good learning environment for the students and will help the teacher and students for success.

  16. My favorite teacher is my 1st grade teacher Mrs. Haji. Mrs .Haji helped me get settled since I was the new student halfway through the year. She had good classroom management in my opinion. Her class was set up in a way where we could sit where we think we would be most successful in our studies. There were regular desks and carpeted areas all around the room. Classroom management is where the teachers find a way to keep the kids focused and on task. A positive learning environment is important because it boosts the kids up and helps them believe that they can achieve whatever they want to.Classroom Management is important because it determines whether or not the students can succeed and whether or not the teacher can teach properly. I learn in many different ways so I feel that I can make sure everyone understands the information in their own way.

  17. My favorite teacher was Mr. Caldwell in 8th grade. This teacher had excellent class management. Mr. Caldwell knew how to easily control the class through raising his voice, although it wasn’t exactly yelling. When he raised his voice it was only to gain our attention so that he may proceed with the lesson or to stop us from distracting ourselves.
Classroom Management is the teachers ability to control their classroom.
A positive learning environment is important because it relates directly to a students success. For example a student in a negative learning environment is a student who is not challenged, not supported, and not encouraged to work. Compared to a positive class environment, where students are supported and encouraged to learn, a class with a negative environment has low chance of success for students.
If a teachers cannot manage their class effectively then their student and other classes will most definitely fail to succeed. And if a teacher cannot effectively teach their class, then that teacher most certainly is a failure.
I myself will have the knowledge to know how to manage a class effectively and I can tell the difference between a positive and negative classroom.

  18. My favorite teacher made the classroom a laid back and safe place to not just learn through instruction but hands-on learning experiences. She knew how to adapt her lesson plan for students who struggled with the inital way she taught it without making them feel guilty about needing help. Her classroom was very organized and always colorfully decorated with dim comfortable lighting. She made her classroom feel like a home. Classroom management is how each teacher works together with her class to form a mutual respect that allows the class to function. A positive learning environment is important because this allows the students to feel safe sharing with the class. A positive environment allows for growth mindsets. when a student doesn't feel comfortable in the class, they won't benefit from the class as much

My favorite teacher was always able to connect with the students. She never demanded that we do something. She always asked us our opinions on things and always let us have a say in what went on in the classroom. She always let us pick our seats unless of course we weren't getting our work done. She treated you with respect until you gave her a reason not to. I feel like classroom management is something she definitely had. I classify it as being able to connect with your students but still being able to have them complete the work and tasks that are being given without feeling like you have to force it on them. I feel like another thing about classroom management would be having a positive learning environment. It it extremely important to the success of the students. They have to feel like they are safe and able to talk about anything they feel like without getting punished or scolded. If they feel safe they are more likely to get their work done out of respect because the teacher gives respect to them. All of the things I listed directly effect the success and failure of the class. I feel I have the openness and the correct communication skills to be able to manage a good classroom as well as a school.

My favorite teacher was able to gain the trust of all her students and all of the students were able to feel comfortable and safe in the classroom environment. My favorite teacher would trust the students enough to pick their own seats and be responsible for everything in the classroom. My teachers classroom managements skills were very good. She knew the line between fun and work. So she would joke with all the students but that’s what made them work. So she put humor into the assignments to get us to remember things easier. I feel as if a positive learning environment is very important because it helps the students engage more in the classroom. If it was a negative environment the students would feel as if they are judged for everything that happens in class. I feel as if I can communicate with my students in the elementary school classroom, the students start to trust me with help on their assignments and aren’t scared to ask for help.

My favorite teacher cared the most about if we had learned the material as well as enjoyed learning the material rather than just teaching the minimum you needed to know in order to pass the AP test. She would try to create fun ways to teach us the material and appreciated our feedback about if we liked it that way or learned more a certain way. The classroom management was pretty good, she rarely gave out homework and was pretty flexible on if we turned in stuff late, as long as we talked to her about it. I felt like I learned a lot more because since she strived to make the classroom a fun learning environment, I looked forward to going to class and I wanted to learn the material. If the student doesn't enjoy learning the material or doesn't look forward to going to class, it's going to be harder for the student to learn the material and they could possibly won't be able to perform to their full potential.
One characteristics I would promote is being super welcoming and making your classroom a safe environment for the student and they would be able to ask me anything without hesitating. Another characteristic is being good at communicating with the students and find out what their weakness are and help them out with those to my best ability.

My favorite teacher was very passionate and caring about what she was teaching. He made it very interactive and interesting instead of just having each of us listen and write things down to learn new curriculum. The classroom management was good because he knew the difference between us listening and us actually understanding each concept he was trying to teach. He rarely gave out homework unless he felt we needed it. I felt like with his passion and teaching methods I learned more and actually wanted to pay attention in class rather than zone out and forget everything. If a student doesn't have the slightest urge to go to class everyday their attention span will be less for that teacher and won't learn as much as they need to be successful in that class. I would promote an upbeat welcoming classroom and a place students would feel safe asking or answering questions. A characteristic I have that would help the students is being able to communicate and listen to students in order to find a way to help them succeed and reach their goals in a more confident way.

  23. My favorite teacher as i can remember had good time management we would start a lesson and then a hour in we had a " Brain Break" and then we would do a individual assignment and i really liked and felt like we manged our class time and personal time good. Classroom management to me means managing time and classwork in your scheduled where you get all of your lesson plan done, but also give the students time to do it and finish it in class. Having a postie learning environment is important because it makes sure every student feels included and like their presences and onions matter. it relates to the success of students because it makes them actually want to come to school and learn and them knowing they have a teacher that cares about them, and their education motives them to be successful. If having good classroom management as a student would result in getting things done and no hw, but if you choose to have poor management, then you fall behind and try to catch up. if a teacher has bad classroom management, then the whole class falls behind and the students are all over the place. I think my characteristics are problem solving, communication, time management.

  24. My favorite teacher had flexible seating in her classroom and met students where they are, which allowed students to feel safe and accepted. The way she managed her classroom by allowing students to feel responsible for their learning and didn't feel force fed information, which made students want to be in the classroom even more. Classroom management is maintaining a stable, comfortable classroom environment. When a student doesn't have a positive working environment, then the student won't work within that space or at all. The student will feel insecure about working in the classroom and spent a large amount of time feeling insecure or comfortable. Classroom management or the lack there of can cause disruption to the learning environment because order and security would have been compromised to where students won't feel the need to complete any work or keep manners within the classroom. I possess sense of leadership, peace and organization that will stabilize the classroom and help students feel that they are in a secure environment to learn and excel.

My favorite teacher was amazing and I mean she was caring, funny, and had a lot of patience. She didn't just make the classroom feel like a fun and comfortable safe place to learn without feeling embarrassed when we got an answer wrong, I mean she made every single one of her student feel that way. She also knew how to help every student even if we all learned in our different ways. She knew how to have fun while learning. Her classroom was very organized with open spaces so we could move around freely. Not only that she made her classroom feel like a second home to me. This type of classroom management is how each teacher can control their students in their class because the student is comfortable. A positive learning environment is important because this allows the students to feel safe enough to share their thoughts and feelings with the class. If a teacher were to shut a student down when they have something important to say, the student would feel embarrassed to speak again and I mean I would feel that way. A positive environment allows their brains to have a positive growth mindset. Like if a student has a positive growth mindset from teacher that shows them that type of environment then nothing can stop that student from reaching their goals. If a classroom is unorganized, this will not be beneficial to the student or the teacher at all. Not only that but a teacher needs to be able to help their students with everything but if that student doesn't feel comfortable in the class, they won't go to them. I am always positive, calm, and patient during a stressful situations. Also I'm understanding and will always look at the other person perspective even if they were in the wrong. So there for I feel like these traits will help me succeed by not only me wanting to be in a effective learning skills but to actually make it happen.
